Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of the Suppo.se link-shortening service (the "Service") operated by MMX LLC, a New York limited liability company. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate removal of links, suspension, or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion.

1. Operator Discretion

We reserve the right to remove, disable, or block any custom link, and to suspend or terminate any account, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without prior notice, without liability, and without any obligation to explain our decision. We may act on complaints, on our own review, or on automated signals. Our exercise of discretion in one case does not obligate us to act consistently in other cases.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to shorten, redirect to, or otherwise facilitate any of the following:

2a. Illegal Content and Activity

• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits minors
• Content that facilitates human trafficking or exploitation
• Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content
• Content that violates export control or sanctions laws

2b. Malware and Security Threats

• URLs that deliver or distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or viruses
• Phishing pages, credential-harvesting pages, or fake login forms
• Pages that exploit browser or software vulnerabilities
• Botnets, command-and-control infrastructure, or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) tools

2c. Spam and Unsolicited Distribution

• Mass distribution of unsolicited links via email, SMS, social media, or any other channel
• Links designed to artificially inflate click counts or other metrics
• Creating custom links programmatically in bulk for the purpose of spam distribution

2d. Obscene, Adult, and Sexually Explicit Content

• Custom link slugs (the path component of a Suppo.se URL) that are obscene, sexually suggestive, or offensive in any language or encoding
• URLs that redirect to pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult content of any kind
• URLs that redirect to content depicting or describing sexual acts, nudity presented in a sexual context, or content designed to sexually arouse

We do not offer this Service as a platform for adult content in any form. We reserve the right to determine at our sole discretion whether a slug or destination falls within this prohibition.

2e. Hate, Harassment, and Incitement

• Content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against specific individuals or groups
• Content that promotes, glorifies, or advocates hatred, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Content that constitutes defamation, libel, or slander
• Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn")
• Content designed to facilitate real-world harm to a specific identifiable person

2f. Fraud, Scams, and Deceptive Schemes

• URLs that redirect to fraudulent schemes, investment scams, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, or any content designed to deceive recipients into parting with money or personal information
• Phishing pages, credential-harvesting pages, or fake login forms (see also § 2b)
• Disguising the destination of a custom link to mislead recipients about where they are going
• Impersonating another person, organization, or brand
• "Get rich quick," lottery, prize, or inheritance scams
• Any content that constitutes wire fraud or mail fraud under applicable law

2g. Intellectual Property Infringement

• Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party
• Counterfeit goods or services
• Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted software, media, or other works

2h. Platform Integrity

• Circumventing any technical measures we implement, including rate limits, access controls, or abuse-detection systems
• Accessing the Service through automated means beyond what is explicitly permitted by any API terms we publish
• Creating multiple accounts to evade bans, suspensions, or usage limits
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from the Service

3. Reporting Violations

To report a custom link you believe violates this AUP, contact us at abuse@suppo.se.

We investigate reports at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to act on any report, to notify you of the outcome, or to justify any action or inaction.

4. Consequences of Violation

Violations of this AUP may result in any or all of the following, at our sole discretion:

• Immediate removal or deactivation of the offending link(s)
• Suspension of your account with or without notice
• Permanent termination of your account
• Referral to law enforcement or relevant authorities
• Legal action to recover damages or seek injunctive relief

We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate, including actions not listed above. The enumeration here is illustrative, not exhaustive.

5. No Liability for User Links

We are not responsible for the content of any destination URL. Our removal of a link does not constitute an admission that the link violated this AUP, nor does our failure to remove a link constitute approval of its content.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
