Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Suppo.se link-shortening service (the "Service") operated by MMX LLC, a New York limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.

2. Accounts

Registration. To access features beyond basic link shortening, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported OAuth provider (currently Google, with Facebook and Microsoft available). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

Accuracy. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

Account security. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@suppo.se if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits, suspensions, or bans is prohibited.

3. The Service

Suppo.se provides URL shortening: you submit a long URL, and we provide a shorter URL that redirects visitors to the destination. We also provide link analytics (click counts, aggregate geography, referrer data) to the account that created the link.

No guarantee of availability. We do not guarantee that any short link will remain active for any particular period. We may deactivate links at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason.

Link expiration. Free-tier links do not expire.

4. User Content and Links

Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for the URLs you shorten and any content at those destinations. We are not responsible for the content of any destination URL.

License to operate. By submitting a URL, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, cache, redirect traffic to, and display metadata about that URL as necessary to provide the Service.

No monitoring obligation. We have no obligation to monitor links or destination content. However, we reserve the right — but not the obligation — to review, remove, or disable any link at our sole discretion, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice or liability.

5. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violating the Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Without limiting the Acceptable Use Policy, the Service may not be used to create custom link slugs containing obscene or sexually suggestive language, or to redirect to destinations containing pornography or sexually explicit material, content advocating hatred or violence, or content promoting fraud or scams. We apply these restrictions at our sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

Our IP. The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and content (excluding user-submitted URLs), is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described here.

Your IP. You retain ownership of any content you submit. The operational license in Section 4 does not transfer ownership.

Copyright complaints. If you believe a custom link on our Service points to content that infringes your copyright, contact us at legal@suppo.se and we will investigate. We may remove or disable the link at our sole discretion.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers including Amazon Web Services (hosting and infrastructure) and Google, Facebook, and Microsoft (OAuth sign-in). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

8. Fees and Payment

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription tiers in the future with advance notice.

9. Termination

By you. You may delete your account at any time. Deleting your account does not deactivate your custom links — they will continue to redirect to their destinations indefinitely.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. We also reserve the right to discontinue the Service entirely.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CUSTOM LINK WILL REMAIN ACTIVE, THAT DESTINATION CONTENT IS SAFE, LEGAL, OR ACCURATE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MMX LLC, its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) content at any destination URL you submitted; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
